Volunteers
Volunteers are going to be the backbone of our organization.
We need people to help in every aspect of Clean The
Bay. Any expertise you can lend will help accomplish
our goal of cleaning the Narragansett Bay shoreline. Click here to learn more about volunteering.

Equipment
To remove debris from the shoreline and
quickly respond to navigational hazards, Clean The Bay
needs your help to fund the purchase of the following
equipment:
- 56' LCM, for hauling and transporting shoreline
debris, such as camels, abandoned boats and docks. The LCM also holds the dumpsters. This
has already been aquired and is ready to go. Thank you to the Champlin Foundation for the funds to make this purchase.
- 26' high speed landing craft, for transporting
personnel and equipment to shoreline cleanup sites, and
for quick response to floating debris calls.
- Chainsaws (new if possible, but good used will do)
- Diesel fuel for the LCM
- Gasoline for our transfer boats
- Work Gloves
- Plastic contractor bags
- First aid kits, AED, trauma kit
- Hard hats
- Bottled water for our volunteers, cooler, ice

Donations
It's going to take money to accomplish our goal, and
to purchase the proper
equipment to safely clean the bay shoreline. We
are pursuing federal grants and monies, but we also
need donations from individuals, companies, and organizations.
